2 Functional Overview

This product is a highly reliable packaged PUMP device with selectable power levels to adapt to various application scenarios. It adopts a hermetic packaging scheme to meet telecom-grade GR-468-CORE high-reliability requirements. An external cavity FBG mode-locking scheme is used to ensure excellent spectral performance.

Note:

  • Two package styles are available for lead frame and ring frame configurations (see Figure 4-4).
  • Asymmetric tolerance 10.8+0.3/-1.8 mm covers both package types.
5 Safety Instructions
  • Laser output is invisible light. Avoid direct or indirect laser exposure to eyes and skin during operation.
  • ESD protection must be applied during transportation and storage; shorting clips must be installed across pins.
  • Clean the fiber output end properly before operation. Follow safety protocols when handling and cleaving fibers to prevent injury.
  • Use a constant-current power supply and avoid surge current during operation.
  • Operate within rated current and power limits.
  • Ensure adequate heat dissipation during laser operation.
  • Ensure the device bottom and mounting plane are flat and free of foreign matter before installation.
  • Mount screws diagonally in pre-tightening sequence, then cross-tighten; recommended torque <1.0 kgf·cm.
